I actually had no idea that an eclipse was due and had just sat down on the balcony of our hotel in Kos, which we had just arrived at for a 10 day break.

Looking up I suddenly noticed the moon was blood red, it was quite a sight and not a cloud to be seen, the GF and I sat outside watching it for quite sometime.

I'm not much of a photographer and I only had a point and shoot but I thought I would post these anyway...

I then managed to capture 3 shooting stars from around Libra...must have been my night??
