Registax alt? (mac)

Hi all,

Im looking for an alternative to registax - although Im using a mac - any suggestions please? Im really new to all this and dont fancy forking out anything major just yet (or switching to a pc!)

Any help appreciated!

Keiths image stacker is free. If you look under communities then social groups on top of page there is a Mac Astronomy group in there. Some of the members are writing software for the Mac and are able to answer any questions you have.

Anytime, glad to see another Mac user. When I first joined SGL thought I was the only one. Some very interesting pieces of software coming our way, information about this can be found in the Mac group and in threads around the main forum. There are some very clever members in there.

great - ill be sure to check in there then.....Im surprised that macs seem to play second fiddle with imaging etc - they seem to be default in the the world of photography!

I'll post up some images when Ive got something worth showing then!

There is lots of good imaging software for Mac. Check out Equinox 6 which does most things that you will want all within one package - planetarium, scope control, webcam control, polar alignment and also have a very helpful forum.
