Cleaning CPC front glass

Recommended Posts

My concern with a dry cloth is that some (if no most) of the 'stuff' that's on it will be pollen which is 'sticky' stuff. (as mentioned above) The Baarder Wonder Fluid will sort that out and comes with a cloth, what's £14 compared to the alternative :-|

A dry cloth is definately not recommended.

Thats hit the nail on the head - when you have spent hundreds of £'s on fine quality optics it seems crazy to put them at risk for the sake of just a few more £'s

If you damage the coatings the cost of repair is prohibitive and, if not repaired, you have reduced the value of the scope significantly.
