Stellarvue f80m2 finder scope

I enjoy finding DSOs always by star hopping. I much prefer, for comfort and ease, to use a right angle correct view 9x50 finder.

For some time I have felt the wish to obtain a larger finder and was thinking of upgrading to the Altair 10x60 at £150. However, my main wish was to obtain a Stellarvue 13x80 finder with illuminated reticle and right angled correct image. The finder also comes with a straight through 2" extension back.

To my surprise one came up on eBay and only one other person bid for it

I have now placed it on my 10" Dob ready for some DSO hunting. A proper review will come later under some dark skies.
