Nexstar 130 SLT Solar Filter

I recently purchased a Nexstar 130SLT as a first scope and was hoping to find a solar filter for it. Celestron have the compatible solar filter listed as discontinued, does anyone know of an alternative?

You van make your own filter using Baader Plantarium filter material.

Here is a link to a thread recently posted on SGL. It's a kind of tutorial on how to build one. Just disregard my advice concerning "irregular shapes" and "truss mountings". I thought stargazerjack had the SW 130mm Dob (like I have), when in fact he has the SW 130p which has a circular aperture (like yours).

Which actually makes everything easier.
