SynScan firmware for the 127...?

Hi,

I think I heard or read somewhere NOT to update the SynScan firmware for the SW 127 straight away after setting up the scope but to get used to using it first

And then updating it at a later time - any thoughts on this please?

What are you supposed to do if it came with the most up to date firmware?

Mine did not come with the latest version. Although brand new it came with version 3.0 and I updated it as the mount was doing strange things. Unfortunately the update did not fix the problem and the mount has been collected and returned to the supplier. The OTA is fine but unusable atm as no mount to attach it to.
