Cheltenham Stargazing Evenings

Recommended Posts

The Cotswold Astronomical Society returns to the Cheltenham Science Festival this year, hosting two Stargazing evenings on Thursday June 9 and Friday June 10. Starting at 9.00 pm. with a short talk in the Times Cafe and then observing, if clear, in the Imperial Gardens with some of the Society's telescopes. The Moon and Saturn should be well placed for viewing both these evenings.

Callum Potter will talk about 'Views Of The Solar System' on the Thursday evening, and on the Friday evening Peter Cadogan will talk about 'Our Moon'.

All welcome, and FREE!

The society is now on Twitter too - for the latest follow @CotswoldAstro
