Skywatcher PC mount control API...?

Hi all - I was just surfing around looking to see if there was any news (pricing?) on the new SW 100mm Petzval and came across a PC to Mount control app which Skywatcher have brought out...

Not being an EQMOD user (yet ), I have no idea about these things and I thought that as EQMOD is free as well, it's perhaps a little odd that SW should develop their own PC to mount control, but I thought I'd mention it, just in case no-one else had found it or whether it might actually be of some use(?)
