And a M101 to finish

To finish these 5 night astrophoto session I made from 31 May till yestarday, here a simple M101.

I used my Tak FS102NSV @ 632mm + QSI532WS @ -15ºC.

Lum - 9x 10 min. I will bring the color someday !

There's some lovely detail in there, Paulo...!

I know you can't really compare a QSI with a DSLR, but I had a crack at this earlier in the year with a 40D and had to capture over 8 hours of data before starting to get any real detail (and it could have done with another 3 or 4 hours on top of that really). I probably shouldn't be surprised, but your 90 mins luminance layer has already surpassed my attempt...

That,s a very good image of a very difficult object.This galaxy always seems to hide its detail,and can take a lot of coaxing out.Look forward to the colour,but well done anyway.
