RA Motor Bounce

Hi All,

Imhaving problems withmy ra motor, it is making the image vibrate, I cant see anything wrong at all with the motor or mount but cant stop the vibration, As soon as I turn off the motor it stops?

Any Ideas as This is the clearest nigh in ages an dI cant do anything.

Have you checked the telescope balance?, sometimes an imbalance plus a bit of backlash in the gearing can cause this problem.

It's ok now I found the problem, The little rubber drive dog was catching on the motor housing as the motor was pushed into it a little too far, I have now moved the drive dog forward onto the RA spindle so the motor doesnt drag.
