Venus and....who???

Over exposed to show companion. I don't suppose it's Uranus is it? Taken at about 18:30 tonight.

BTW, this was the best normal exposure I got tonight. 114mm newt and toucam at prime focus. 89 of 200 frames stacked in Registrax withno processing.

The only thing I could find in SNP in that area at that time is a third mag star called algenib, on the corner of the Great Square. Could that be it? What's the FOV of the pic?

oh. Algenib was obviously too far away. Could have been a mag 5 star - 44 piscium?

I think you where right the first time Andrew, judging by SN, it certainly isn't Uranus, sadly..

Looks like Uranus is about to crash into those mountains.

I imaged Venus tonight and there was a star in the same field of view.

Algenib was too high at the time so it was either a third or fourth magnitude star in Pisces or Cetus.
