Newbie with a webcam

Hi all,

Last week I ordered a SPC880 flashed with an IR filter and adapter from Morgans, and it is at home waiting for me!!

Can you good folks give me a few pointers on what software I am best of using with it??

Well I'm not an expert but I would say SharpCap & wxAstroCapture are the best I have used and it is easy to change the settings for the webcam when recording

Sharpcap +1: it has the added advantage of its writer being a member of the forum who is very helpful if problems arise.

It is also useful to use a free stacking software such as RegiStax- Free image processing software if you have not already got it.
