CGEM Mount Mains Issue

Hi guys

I bought a mains adaptor for my CGEM mount when i bought the scope in january, it doesnt seem to work very well though.

If i plug it all in it will power the scope no issues, if i slew the scope in any direction for any amount of time it works fine.

The problem comes during alignment, as soon as i pick the first star i am going to align with and press enter the whole rig powers down! i dont get it, the movment isnt doing it because i can slew no issues before alignment and if i just have it plugged in it will sit there all night on, its only ever attempting alignment. I have used multilple sockets.

i have my battery pack and its great but im getting into imaging and as im at home anyway id just rather plug it in.
