Green laser light

I found the red light EZ finder scope that came with my Orion Skyquest XT 8 telescope a pain to align properly. After doing a bit of reading on line, I thought I'd try a green laser light. What a major difference THAT made. I was so thrilled when I pointed the laser up at Saturn and looked in the eyepiece and there it was in all its ringed glory. Way, WAY easier to align.

I have a green laser pointer that I sometimes lay along the top of my Skymax 127. Using a low power eyepiece it's quite a good way to locate what you're looking for. Once you've found it you can switch up the power.
