Whale and Squid............

......well that's what my effort from last week looks like to me..

For those interested this is a crop from an eyepiece projection image taken with the 450D through an Hyperion 17mm attached to the WO110 FLT,enhanced in PhotoShop CS3.

great capture i saw blue whale for the first time not so long ago on here i had no idea there was a squid as well

is this in the southern hemi as i dont see it captured alot

No,it's well north............ a few degrees west of Arcturus........ more commonly referred to as the Whale and Hockey stick.

Thanks for the compliment but there are quite a few better images under this title on the Forum.......... the Hockey stick element in my image is pretty poor and looked more like a squid......... hence the title of the thread.
