dimensions of the skywatcher 150p and 200p dobsonian

just wondering if anyone with either a skywatcher skyliner 150p or 200p dobsonian telescope have the dimensions that they could tell me, i cant find them on the internet.

just wondering for transporting in the car purposes.

A 150mm f/8 and 200mm f/6 (the most common focal lengths) are both essentially the same length: The OTA (optical tube assembly) is about 1.1 meters long without the base - with the base, the assembled unit is about 1.3 meters long. The main difference is in the circumference of the tube and corresponding bulk of the bases. As a general rule of thumb, the OTA of a newtonian reflector scope is about the same length as the focal length of the mirror.

Ex: 200mm scope with 1200mm focal length - tube is roughly 1200mm long.

Either OTA (150mm or 200mm) should fit easily across the back seat of most cars - they are easily secured by wrapping the safety belts around them! Base and accessories can go in the boot.
