Which way round?

OK, another "newbie" type question.

The image below shows my meg72 and EQ5 Pro mount approximately in the HOME position with the DEC motor to the left of the scope

1. Is this the "correct" side to have it?
   
2. Does it matter ? Some images I've seen of others' EQ5s have the DEC motor on the right of the scope

I'm pretty sure that it don't matter. Maybe one of the imagers can chip in definitively ?

I'm guessing that as long as it does what it's meant to, there ain't a problem.

Makes no difference. Whatever is the easiest will still work.
