Edge scopes and Secondary removal - Imaging?

Has anyone done this on the EdgeHD series for imaging? If so does it actually deliver F2?

What camera/CCD do you recommend?

I am looking at the F2.8 PowerNewt but noticed on the Edge scopes they claim F2 when replacing the secondary with a CCD.

SCT's use a fastar or hyperstar lens to get them down to f2. They don't do it out of the box. SteveL used a hyperstar on an 8" SCT to great effect with a QHY8.
