Eq5 goto upgrade installation help

Hello

Has anyone got proper instruction for the skywatcher eq5 goto upgrade kit as the one that came with it are dreadful have looked on the skywatcher website but can't find anything

I only want to know which way round the small cog goes that you attach to the R.A and Dec axis

Anyone that can help ?

Hello.

The instructions that come with the upgrade are pretty dire. I installed this upgrade last year. I took a few photos at the time because i had a small alignment issue with one of the cogs.

Thank you that does help. The instructions are non-existent it's really bad for such a large and popular brand

I think I have managed to sort it out.

Had trouble with the cogs getting stuck and jamming which I think I have fixed

And it came with a little White pot with something in it not sure what it is

Grease maybe?
