41 lights,20 darks,20 flats at about 15 to 30 sec exposures. Shot at 200 and 400 iso! Basic tracking on a cg5 mount with a canon t100 and a field flattner. I used a Svbony 80mm! I wanted to shoot it without blowing out the core. It seemed that the shorter exposures and low iso worked pretty well compared to my last try! Clear skies to everyone! Processed with girmp and used dss for stacking!

That's a good start. It's exciting to get to grips with new gear.
So far as processing goes, it helps to avoid clipping the black point, and be careful not to overstretch. Colo(u)r balance help too, and a little noise reduction.
I've tried to adjust all of the above a bit on your image and get this result. There may well be more detail in the linear data.
Looks like your new scope will deliver some great stuff!

Thanks for the tips Tony!

About 40 lights at 80 seconds, 15 dark's and no flats! Shot with a canon t100 on a cg5 mount with a svbony 80 with flattener/reducer, tracked! Iso was set to 800! I know its not that good to what some of u can do, but to me for right now its gold, and time for a celebration, cheers! I just need to learn to process better and take flats correctly! This new scope lets in a lot of light real quick, amazing!

125 lights at 70 seconds,15 darks, and 15 flats at 800iso. It was shot with a canon t100 on a cg5 mount with a sct 6, tracked! I don't know what i'm doing in processing but i will learn, and shoot more darks etc. This is my first M31 with dust lanes so it is a big deal for me, i see something other than just a fuzzy star! Cheers!

10 lights at 55 sec, 10darks, 10flats. Shot at 3200 iso. Put a polar scope in my mount for the first time, It was also the first time i could zoom in on my pic and not see trailing, what a good feeling! Just need to do better all around, processing etc, and maybe a lower iso with longer exposure times thanks for looking, have a great day! Shot on a advanced gt with a celestron sct 6! I know i still have a lot to learn as u can tell from the pic!

280 lights at 50 to 60sec, iso 800 18darks 17 flats. Taken with a svbony 80 on cg5 mount! Camera is canon t100 rebel no filter and unguided! Gimp for processing! Witch is what i need to work on the most is processing! But i still think it looks cool and just happy to be out in nature with my scope. Have a good day and clear skies thanks for looking!
