I've just bought the RA finder ... expecting it tomorrow ... great price looks good on the StellaLyra .. hmmm another scope i've got my eye on .
I was going to wait and get the Straight one but thought no as I'd get a sore neck, plus the price on this was to good to say no to.

Well thank you again @FLO just delivered now, the Telrad can go on my small scope. As you can see I got the best for MM and all the curves are OH So Beautiful together. MM is my all time favourite actress Marilyn Monroe.

Sorry to hear and see this, but glad you are getting it sorted out. I very nearly dropped my StellaLyra 6 the other day trying to take it off the mount, so I have got a handle coming tomorrow.

I have a pair of Opticron 15x80 and I have had them for some years I find them really good bins, they are as good as the day I purchased them
I got the 10x50 and gave them a go last night, was very happy with them but sadly the cloud came back in.

Cloud came back in last night, so only had a few minutes to test out the 10x50 so just have to wait now for some clear skies.

That's a lovely image, if any of mine are ever like this I will be well chuffed.

Fantastic, really do like this.

As I always squint when using my small scope, I just got one of these now. If it's like Marmite, I will love it as love marmite anyway.

Fantastic service off @FLO yet again, put in my order yesterday for these 10x50 binoculars yesterday, and just delivered now.

As has been said, binoculars are a great starting point in your journey to sky watching plus a great way to learn your way round the night sky.

Not from the postman, but my dad was sorting through some old boxes and found this book of his, which I remember reading avidly as a kid (when I last had a small telescope). He’s now given it to me, to add to my collection of astronomy books.
The Observers Book of Astronomy by (Sir) Patrick Moore, from 1962 😃
Unfortunately my sister seems to have scribbled on the front and back page, but it’s pencil and adds to the charm 🤣
I have exactly the same little book from my childhood.
