  1. @Ricochet Thanks for the advice, I already made a thread about barlows that work with my telescope, so far got 1 response and I can't find that barlow in Europe, the link was US, could you maybe recommend me an barlow lens that would work? Also how much would better 10mm eyepiece would be?
  2. @Neil HSorry for late response, sky hasn't been clear for a while, but I tried what you said, I couldn't get it to focus without the lens either.
  3. @Pondus Maybe that will work, I'll try that, but the problem is it doesn't go inwards enough, not outwards, maybe it will help, not sure though as I cant get it to screw in more
  4. I recently got my telescope (130p) the views are amazing, but I ran into a problem, my 3x barlow lens wont focus and it seems others have similar issue and I need short barlow lens for this telescope. Can anyone with this telescope recommend me some barlow lens that will work on the 130p? Thanks.
  5. @fozzybearThanks, you mean make a new post about 130p telesope and barlow?
  6. @Bruce Leeroy I said before that it doesn't fit in the eyepiece, but thanks. @fozzybear Seems like some people have issues aswell on this telescope, what should I do in this case, return the barlow and buy a short 2x barlow or 6mm eyepiece? Edit: Yes I can unscrew the lens from the barlow, can't screw the lens in the eyepiece though.
  7. Here are pics of how I set up the barlow with 25mm lens, sorry for bad quality images, I have only a desk lamp in my room as my main lamp went out.
  8. @fozzybear What kind of pic do you want? Like how its setup for me? Or something else?
  9. Ok, I tried to screw the barlow lens in the eyepiece, it is too big to fit in the eyepiece. @fozzybear That's is the barlow I have, you guessed correct. @doublevodka When I discovered this I was outside for at least an hour or half an hour, I both tried with the 25mm and 10mm. With the 25 mm I couldn't get it to focus and with the 10mm I couldn't get much at all, barley could see stars which were blurry. @Neil H Sorry still don't understand what you mean by just putting the barlow without the lens..? If I got it right, what's the benefit of this? As without the lens in the barlow is it really a barlow lens? EDIT: I will get some pics later for those who are interested, also I'm really sorry for the late response, I was really busy yesterday.
  10. @wibblefish No my 130p did come with an extension tube, but the problem isn't that focus is too far out, it's too far in, I can't screw my focuser even more in, it reaches the limit when it's starting to get a clear image. I have tried all the way back, but that was the only time when it starts to focus, it's when I'm screwing it in. @Neil H I don't know how to remove the lens and do what you said, I'm not skilled enough as this is my first scope. @Les Ewan Possibly, I probably am going to return my barlow and buy a 2x one, should work hopefully.
  11. I'm using the stock 25mm Sky-watcher super MA and stock 10mm Sky-watcher super MA, and a 40$ omegon 3x barlow achro multi coated
  12. I just bought a 130p telescope and a 3x decent barlow lense, but whenever I put it in, it wont focus. It almost gets to focus when my focuser is completely on minimum, but as I can't turn it anymore, I can't seem to get it in focus. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
  13. I've received my 130p first time looking trough a telescope, it was so AMAZING, there were way more stars than I thought I would be able to ever see in a city. Thanks everyone for helping me pick out a telescope, you gave me lots of good advice, thanks!
  14. Welp, bad news, the order got cancelled due to COVID - _ - going to have to look for a different telescope, again... Edit: I've decided that I'll buy the 130p instead, as 150p isn't available anywhere, and the 130p is at 240Eur.
  15. Thanks a lot, I might buy the Barlow lens you mentioned, it fits in my budget!
  16. Thank you, but you're a little late, I bought the 150p. I probably should change the title, my bad.
  17. Hey, I wanted to know should I order a 2x or 3x barlow lens? I noticed that the 150p doesn't come with one and I've heard they're a big deal, if I should, can someone recommend me some decent cheap ones? Or is it better to stay without for now?
  18. Thanks, this list looks really good, I might try to find them all once I get my telescope!
  19. Thanks, I'm currently looking for a book guide for sky, I wanted to buy left at orion, but it isn't in my local stores, might have to buy from amazon. Thanks for advice, I'm really excited!
  20. So after all, I'm answering kinda late, but I found a 150p for 260 from Finland, so I ordered it, for people who are interested I'll post a follow up once I recieve it, about my expirience, thanks for tips tho!
  21. @Spile Thanks, I might buy the book, hopefully it's not too expensive
  22. I may observe sometimes from home, but due to living in middle of city, I'm going to drive out mostly to a nearby lake.
  23. I don't have any film canisters, but knowing that I need just a chair is usefull, thanks.
