Just wanted to show an update without creating a new topic. Today was a 'Houston, we have a problem' situation....mounting equipment, screws, good ideas that later turned out to be less good, giving stuff a place, moving dovetail endless times, continuously rough balancing and at the end connect the cables.
Two dew haters via little control box directly to Celestron 17Ah PowerTank...the rest of the equipment is working on an internal battery.
Maybe changing:
ew heater of lens maybe reposition to the smaller part of the tube instead of on the lens hood and move the finder scope closer to the turning point.
Unfortunately I could not place two counterweights against the top of the bar. It was just to heavy. So now just one further away.
To do: cable management. Three USB cables going to my laptop. Hope the little unpowered hub will working with USB from the iPolar camera and for my wireless mouse dongle.
