  1. Hi. I've been out tonight with my my Heritage 150p and two new BST starguider eyepieces. Unfortunately, the moon filter (make unknown) i had for my old plossl eyepieces (also make unknown), is too small for the BSTs, despite having the same outer barrel diameter. Could someone with BST starguiders point me in the direction of a neutral density filter that would definitely work with my new eyepieces. Thanks in advance, Pete
  2. Thanks for the welcome, Yes it's amazing. We had a short break in the cloud that lasted maybe 1 hour last weekend and because the scope is so small and portable, it was worth setting up just for that. That would NOT have happened with my 25kg lump, I can promise you! Pete
  3. Hello, thought I'd join rather than just lurking and reading all the useful info. I'm a recent return to the world of astronomy having bought a 114mm Newtonian on an equatorial mount some 25 years ago (what a mistake that was!) and being lucky enough to get a Heritage flextube 150p very recently. I've seen more with that dobsonian in about 3 nights than I ever managed to see with the smaller reflector. Clear skies are forecast for me tonight! Can't wait. Pete
