  1. M101; 120 sec.; Iso 800; 600D It looks terrible... Probably it doesn't make sense without a filter.
  2. Up! Is there no chance to connect a 2 inch filter to this telescope? I don't see threads in front of the reducer.
  3. Thank you. The person who was doing the astromode set me up to normal balance (whatever that means) for day/normal photography.
  4. Hello guys! I have my first session with a modified SLR. I need a reference point. Please show your single frames from modified SLRs. Here is mine Canon 600D, 90 sec. ISO 800 The histogram was 1/3 wide. I don't know if I should keep longer exposure with the same iso? And this is my result of 40 frames. I know that not much, but the nights are just short and the cloudless sky rarely appears. Stack for fun if someone want t try
  5. Does it not depend on the camera? Each camera has a slightly different sensor distance. It's best to try by trial and error. Now I remember. The above image of the Bode Galaxy was without shims between the adapter and reducer. In my opinion, this is quite acceptable. Although when I added 3.5mm the problem is still on the right side. So personally, I probably need a tilt.
  6. Old topic but for future problems ... Nothing is needed if you have a reducer. Only thin pads between the reducer and the camera adapter. And it depends on the camera. For my Nikon D5100 it is about 3.5mm. I personally cut out of cardboard. Below is my focus. I just have a little problem with the stars on the right.
