Hi and greetings from Baja Mexico! Not knowing what I don't know, am here to learn some of what I don't know so I'll know that I know now less than I will later.
So much to learn, seems overwhelming yet looking forward to the journey. Just got a second telescope and after frustration set in, realized maybe learning how to use it might provide better results - ummmmm duh. The first scope I picked up at a garage sale, and pointed it and went with what I could see. Now, after some initial research I have a 12" Zhumell Dob., and looking to get some basics down so I can better utilize it for visuals, and improve operation of it with tweaks.
Since I was a kid (clarification; I'm still a kid, but wayyyy back when I was younger) I would sleep outside in the summers and fall asleep staring at the night sky and like all of you I wondered where it all goes, and what is out there staring back.
Here is to the journey, and cheers to you all for your support and guidance!
