  1. Hi all, I recently bought Canon 6D for wide field shots - Milky Way with 35mm 85mm and 135mm. I understand that it’s recommended to Astro modify it so I bought the Baader BCF2 filter but I also read that in some cases this filter can create halos or false color. there are a lot of methods and I am really stuck with which one to choose: 1. Remove LPF#1 , replace LPF#2 with Baader filter 2. Replace LPF#2 with Baader filter and keep LPF#1 3. remove LPF#1 and #2 (no Baader filter) 4. Remove only LPF#2 and keep LPF#1 (no Baader filter) I think I will go with #2 - for the Baader mod, how many turns do I need to add to the adjustment screws of the sensor (if any) , and is it matter (turns wise) if I keep LPF#1 or not ? Will be happy to hear from someone who has done both modes and can help with that thanks in advance ! P.s If anyone also have a tutorial on how to blacken the led (SD card) that would be great !
  2. I'm trying to get M54 x 0.75 thread specs All that I've found is the internal : <MajorDia>54.000</MajorDia> <PitchDia>53.671</PitchDia> <MinorDia>53.378</MinorDia> But I don't know what is the class or if it's even correct
  3. Hi all, Recently my NEQ6 Pro mount started to make squeaky noises when trying to balance it (no noises when slewing or guiding) The Rowan belt mod kit was installed about two years ago and it tracks "Ok" (.5" on a good night with, .8-9" on a bad night) I've uploaded to my drive what I mean (too large for the forum upload) - https://drive.google...rRbBvGVv7II-gXQ Try to ignore the shouting kid in the background 😁 Before I start tearing it apart, any idea what can be the issue ? My plan is to order all the necessary bearings and grease and replace them, but obviously I want to avoid it... Thanks !
  4. FLO has offered to refund me for the cable, but I had to check few last things - Issue seems to be resolved : 1. connected the cable to a USB2.0 port (the other port was a working USB 3.0, confirmed nothing is wrong with it) 2. In device manager -> port settings -> Advanced : -> Receive (Bytes) lowered to 2048 -> Transmit (Bytes) lowered to 2048 7 hours session no disconnects
  5. I sent an email to FLO, checking if they ever heard about this issue. Will wait for them to respond. I'm going to increase the Baud to 115200, changing the USB power management configurations, and hope for the best.
  6. Did you solve this issue ? I have the exact same problem
