Hi I've just purchased an observatory dome and I'm in the process of putting it all together. I'm thinking of putting 45mm foil insulation in the walls. I've been advised to use vapour control and breathable membrane. So the layout will be as follows: interior walls are marine ply then vapour control sheet then stud timber frame filled with the 45mm insulation. Osb board on exterior wall with batons fitted and pvc cladding. What I need advice on is I have got damp proof membrane under the slabs I'm putting the observatory on. So I have the soil then the damp proof membrane sheet then sand cement mix and then the slabs. Will I need to vapour control the observatory floor? Any help would be very much appreciated thank you.
