Great images, this is the set up I was hoping to get.

is your photo cropped (30 12 2019) and what camera did you use. New to this, but if a mono camera wouldn't the sky be black and then sun yellow when coloured? or do you prefer it this way round- thanks

any photos using this mount, was told it could only track for a short time- would be good to know how long. If its any good think I will get it to use with a Lunt 60mm double stacked scope - thanks

Thanks Ken, do you how large you could print out for a good photo using the ASI 174mm. Also any recommendations on budget tripods wont have much left after buying scope and camera. Anything else I would need? many thanks for your help

Any one used the Solar quest with a Lunt 60mm solar scope, any problems or is this a good tripod for imaging - thanks

Lots of questions- sorry, first of all some great advice. I am just about to part with a large amount of money for a 60mm Ha Double stack B1200 system, . But I am still undecided about whether pressure tuning is worth the money and looking forward, how much maintenance is required/cost. Also how much is the polarizing filter to cut down reflections- is this a problem when imaging? . is the Crayford focuser any good
Anyone used the ZWO AS1178 mono camera with the 60mm, any problems?
What tripods do you recommend - not a lot of money left !
