  1. Spacecat 51, ASI533, Optolong L-eNhance Dual Narrowband. 71 x 4 min subs @ gain 100 + darks, guided on the CEM40.  Limited processing (still(!) fathoming Pixinsight out).  Now realise a 4K monitor will help with processing as looking at this on my Sony 4K tv is clearer and more detailed.

    Constructive comments and help welcomed.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

  2. Really like this Paul.  👍  Using it as a bit of a reference for my Pelican image with the Spacecat and 533.  Similar image size  Only got L-eNhance date at the moment hoping for some without perhaps tonight.

  3. Adam, I think this is one of my favourite images that I’ve had the pleasure of seeing on here so far. It really emphasise the vastness of space. Love the simplicity of it and of course the detail, just fabulous! 👍🏻

  4. I’m still figuring all of this out, but thought I’d pop my first proper imaging post to get some feedback. First effort with the ZWO 120mm atop the Spacecat 51, ZWO 533 providing the pics. 52 x 240s subs @ gain 100, + darks. I don’t think I’ve quite got the focus right on the guider and I’ve realised how ‘rubbish’ my laptop screen is for processing so I’ve only done a couple of minor tweaks with this in Pixinsight. Also couldn’t decide on orientation so have tried to get it as close to how it would have appeared visually, although I think I prefer 90degrees clockwise.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to look!

    Cheers.
