    Had a go at the M45 but doesnt look to good to me... 32 x 30sec lights 10 x 30sec darks iso 400 taken with skywatcher 150p, Nikon D3500, EQ-5, Stacked in DSS and processed in GIMP

    Do you do flats straight after doing lights and darks..... How would i get more condor and more sharper in the image

    I do all the alignment before putting telescope on but wouldnt it knock it out off alignment while setting up.... What is second alignment star

    When i fitted my motors to my eq5 it said in the manual that i might need to ajusted some screws on the ra part.. Why do i need to do this

    Hi... wondering if anyone can help me out.. I have just filled my motor drives to my EQ5... In the manual it say if i turn it on it will start compensating for the earths rotation but its not all im getting is a flashing red light with a bit green light on the hard set can anyone help please

    Thats what it i what to try.. A bit of basics astrophotography.... But trying to understand polar aligning really baffles my head
