Can you say something about Delite 18.2mm? Don Pensack recommend this line of eyepieces to me. I don't want to undermine his knowledge, I just want to know some more opinions

it does not matter to me. How will the Dobson and focuser handle such a weight?

No.
Thank you for your answers. Is not easy to make a choice.

I tend to use powers between 75x and 100x the most often
I chose 20mm as the first to get used to using the telescope (inverted image) I'm used to the binoculars. It's just my thought, maybe I'm wrong?

Hi all.
I would like to buy my first eyepiece, but there is a problem which?
My choices are:
Nagler 22mm
APM HDX XWA 20mm
TS XWA 20mm
Myraid 20mm
ES 20mm
( Or used Ethos 21mm if i find any)
Second choices :
Delos 17.3mm

If I remember accurately, the Pentax zoom was the first 'non-stock' eyepiece I ever bought. I went to the retailer (as we used to do in the olden days - physically walked there - complete madness!) in search of a Baader zoom for standard night viewing, about which I'd heard good things. Anyway, they were out of the Baader, but recommended the Pentax XF, claiming it was even better, and worth the extra few quid. When I tried it out I was disappointed - even on slow scopes it was a step down from the perfectly good plossls I'd been using for years. Then later I got to use it for solar white light and ha, and it's been a faithful companion ever since. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have Adam
Thank you. I am more and more convinced that I have made a good choice.

I’ve happily used the Baader Zoom for Ha. Can’t remember seeing any distortion to speak of. I used to have a duel WL / Ha setup with a Baader zoom on each side.

What baader did you use? Friend bought hyperion III and immediately dismissed it because of internal reflections.

Only intended for h alpha. So Pentax zoom has an advantage over others.
-
Tanks gentlemen. Could you say something about the Pentax?
-
Hi all.
I am looking for a zoom eyepiece to 60mm lunt. My first choices are Lunt zoom and Pantax smc xf zoom. Which will work better? Can you have any other offer? You could say something more about these eyepieces while observing h-alpha?

I thinking about 15 mm eyepiece. x66 Is this too much magnification?
-
Wow. Thank You.
What eyepiece do you use for higher magnification? (details of the chromosphere and prots)

Are You using hyperion lV zoom with ds60mm? How IT working? Any internal reflections?
