Tried a few times in the past to image the planets but not really been that successful. This one isn't too bad for me c925 , 385c camera and 2.5x barlow. Processed in autostakkert, registax and then photoshop.

Conditions weren't great Thursday morning but wanted to test a luminos barlow with the 294mc pro. Scope is c925, best 15% of 1,000 in autostakkert, sharpened in registax and processed in photoshop.

C925 with 294mc pro ir/uv cut. 2 panel mosaic sharpened in registax, processed in photoshop. Saved as jpeg as i have trouble uploading large files.

And finally a mosaic with the 385c . Again, clicky for full resolution. Less saturation on this one.

c925 and 294mc pro bin 1 with ir/uv cut filter. 2 panel mosaic best 25% of 1,000 . Had to convert to jpeg as i keep getting an error 200 when trying to upload a larger file. ( 50+ mb ) clicky for full rez. and a few with the 385c camera with neodymium filter and mostly barlowed.

My two pennysworth, i always describe what i do to non astronomy folks as EAA, not video astronomy but i found this forum section no problem. Perhaps calling it Video ahd EAA might help folks find the forum a tad easier when searching EAA but anyone who is interested in this hobby should find it easy enough anyway. As a visitor to cn EAA forum sometimes i find the whole 'is it EAA' thing rather silly. I kind of understand the 'no processed pics' thing but if you state you have post processed the image a little, what is the issue ? it is not like false advertising and as for night vision, perhaps it should have it's own sub forum under video astronomy & EAA. Whatever is decided it will not effect me visiting and posting on occasion ( when the storms in the UK finally subside )
