Unfortunately patience isn't on my list of virtues!! But I'm trying ?

Just had the WiFi unit for my HEQ5 turn up closely followed by a thunderstorm. Great eh?? ?

A set of anti vibration pads, hopefully to reduce the dull thuds of the kids elephant feet. Less than a tenner on ebay. Hope they work.

Mine never arrived even though the company said it was delivered. Got a full refund. I'll order again because they are stunning.
Where did you order from? Geek/wish from China, cheapest and not too bad on delivery time.

When the Moon's around dark nights are destroyed anyway ?
Ah, but the moon I do lose myself in. (starts humming Ozzy - Bark At The Moon)

Takes the weight nicely, would need another counter balance with big ep's or astrophotography gear tho.

New to all this astronomy business and not got to much spare cash at moment but after starting the other month with a dob I have now bought my first frac.
Bresser AR152L/1200 on a HEQ5 Pro. Thought it might be a good little starting package for me. Certainly made Jupiter look better than the dob did last night. Money well spent me thinks. ?
Certainly some nice looking set ups on here, not jealous at all honestly!

Cheers Steve.
Hoping it stays clear for later on. Need to road test it all.
Hope you've not put a hex on me now!!!

Hi there. Been following since I joined and I am enjoying following your progress. A family member of mine has a small obsy and under the sliding roof he used garage door brush strips /Draught excluders to keep a good seal stopping wind and insects when closed. Not sure if you've considered them already..
Keep up the good work.
