  1. I'm such a scaredy cat I get unnerved sitting in my own garden sometimes. I can't imagine I'd cope well if I ventured further away from my house than that!
  2. Bought a William Optics 2" 90 Deg dialectic diagonal for the Skywatcher StarTravel 102 scope. It's probably overkill for this scope but certainly helps improve the view and provides a better viewing position than the 45 Deg one shipped with the scope.
  3. Welcome from the East Sussex / Kent borders...
  4. Just dropping in to say hello to everyone. I'm returning to the hobby after a break and just bought a new starter scope, a Skywatcher 102 StarTravel. I used to own a 10 inch Dob but I ended up not using it very often because I found it so difficult to move around. Great scope but just not suited to me. I picked the 102 StarTravel because it is super light, easy to store and very quick to setup. Obviously this scope comes with plenty of limitations but I guess we'll find out how I get on with those! My first impressions is that I enjoy using it and performance is fine for me. What is the saying, the best telescope for you is the one you use, right? Anyway, a quick hello to everyone here. Justin
