I haven't seen any images of Pluto here yet. I know its not really different from the surrounding stars but knowing that I am capturing something in the Kuiper belt blows my mind This image is one of my coolest yet for me personally. Pluto is right in between saturn and Jupiter right now so easy to find.

Theophilus is a prominent lunar impact crater that lies between Sinus Asperitatis in the north and Mare Nectaris to the southeast. It is 100km in diameter and has a central mountain which rises to 2km in height with 4 summits..

Great progress over the past 4 years especially when you realise that Saturn was much higher in the sky then.

Got a night with good seeing and tried de-rotation on saturn for the first time. I'm really happy about the results! I think the polar hexagon is visible here, can anyone please confirm that?
I've also attached a photo of my saturn journey over the last 4 years
took 5 min x 3 avi files with the Neximage 5.

11 hours ago, CraigT82 said:A very sharp and detailed image, well captured! I think you've got a bit of atmospheric dispersion affecting the image, see the slight blue fringe st the top of the planet and red at the bottom? On Ganymede too. You can try the RGB align function in registax, should help with that nicely.
thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that

I finally got a night with good seeing, and Jupiter was 40 degrees in altitude when I took 2.5 min x 6 videos and stacked and derotated them to get this result Im very pleased. Hope you enjoy

I just got a new 8" CC scope a few weeks back, and finally managed to avoid clouds and get a shot of mars! extremely pleased with the results! my best Mars image before this was just a red blob with zero details. Hope to get some better shots till opposition in october!

Comet C/2020 F3 Neowise!! 😍
finally managed to capture it after 3 days of waking up at 4:30am, trying to avoid monsoon clouds here in India. Brightest comet of my lifetime
glad to have gotten the tail too in the single shot!
I am quite close to the equator so the window for getting a shot of extremely narrow, and no possibility of getting it with a dark background.
Hope you enjoy the pics
