Not realy....An OSC creates a false luminance within its self but you cant get at it..Binning at say 2x2 will give you mono but at lower resolution, so not worth it, because you need the highest resolution for the Lum.

After reading the other review I was in two minds about an order, but decided to go for it.
I needed a EQ6 pier adaptor, I have their pier so it made sense to get a matching adaptor. I orderd on line yesterday afternoon and I am pleased to say that the postman has just this minute handed me my adaptor..Well done Altair Astro

I use Nebulosity, I use View-Pixel Stats, look at Entire image: Mean, and aim for 20/23000
Works for me

Just tried Stellarium/StellariumScope/Ascom for the first time and I have to report that it worked first time. Im running it on an Acer Aspire laptop with Vista Home Premium SP2. I havn't tried it in anger yet (as its dayight) but it all loaded and when asked slewed the mount in the right direction and what looked like the correct position.

I orderd a scope and bits on Sunday night.
Recieved an email Monday - quote "Hello Martin,
Thank you for your order today. As you can imagine this is a busy time of year and there is a lag of about 3-4 days in shipping telescopes. We ship via FedEx and on an overnight service so the Evostar 100ED DS Pro should be with you in about 4-5 days."
FedEX van came today (Tuesday) with Scope and bits and bobs!
So FLO have done the impossible and i have recieved my goods 3-4 days before they were shipped!!!!
Now thats what I call service!! LOL
Thanks, and Merry Christmas:)
