This is my latest image using the ZWO ASI224MC with my 180mm Mak. I'm real happy with it being able to image Olympus Mons! Solis Lacus, the "eye" is there on the left limb, the polar cap, and some cool dark albedo features in the southern hemisphere. Seeing is EVERYTHING. Best wishes with your future imaging and visual attempts with Mars!
Regards,
Reggie

Brilliant, Stephen!

Have you ever tried using a variable polarizer filter with Venus? I was able to get some good detail visually and in imaging with one.

Nice work, Victoria. Beautiful gibbous phase. I can see a little cloud detail too!

Hi Reggie,
Thanks for your comment. Just wanted to let you know that your NASA tribute to Prince was well received by my friends. Thanks for posting it.
Take care, my friend.
Don
No problem, Don. It was so nice of NASA to do that. Prince is one of my main musical inspirations

All of these images are fabulous, Don. Of course, the Horsehead holds a special place, and magically transforms into Rudolph during the Christmas season, lol!
Best,
Reggie

I did see the beautiful conjunction of the moon, Saturn and Jupiter. I got a picture that I haven't uploaded yet. Mars, though, has been getting most of my attention these past few months, lol. Looking forward to "seeing" more of your images, George.
All the best,
Reggie
