    My very recently purchsed Takahashi Teegul Sky Patrol 2. Motorised in RA. Uses x4 'D' batteries. Will be perfect for holiday trips. Not had much time to play, but it is awesome in every way! Sadly had to sell this wee gem of a mount. Needed the funds.

    Showing the 3" smooth base and the 4" smooth adapter to let it fit in the 2M pedestal. Is everyones older one like this? Mine is a yr2000 model.

    Another Tal 1 type mount(proper name is MT-1). Modern version. Smooth base, removable dec weight bar and the standard dec mount plate. Perhaps the most interesting difference is that the dec body is about a couple of inches shorter than the older version
