I found a flexible pass through plate at Home Depot. Pop riveted into place. USB, Laptop power, Mouse cable etc easily pass through but limit chance of Dew to enter. -

Close up of PWM dimmer. The box used is just a plastic storage bin laid on one side. I used some pop rivets to hold the dimmer but I found that craft type hot glue welded to the smooth plastic very effectively. -
