  1. Darkest night I have had to date, neighbours out and no security lights. Searched for an hour for M101 using telrad, 9x50 RACI and stellarium, no joy :( Am still yet to see a galaxy...

      Used 25mm sw ploss and 13mm nag with my 200p, nada.

      To see M101 in the EP is pretty challenging, you need amazing skies. I have to do a several second exposure with my DSLR to capture any detail, this is outside my home with low light pollution and fairly dark skies. I recommend slewing to a brighter DSO next time, like M81/M82. :)
