As I don't have any decent photography equipment, and a Dobsonian, astrophotography isn't something that is all that easy for me! I took a picture of the moon holding a compact camera to the EP (25mm) of my 8" dob, then did the same for Pleiades, and merged the two pics together to show their rough position in the sky at the time. It won't be 100% in regards to scale or position, but I tried to get it as close as possible! -

First attempt at Jupiter - not great, but it's a start! Canon 70d mounted to 8" Dobsonian at prime focus 30 sec video, stabilised in PIPP Stacked in Registax -

This is my first attempt at photographing the moon through my 8" Dobson, using a basic point-and-shoot camera.
