  20. Hi there, Unable to assist you with the TAL-1 stand although you'll find the wealth of experience on here from others pretty incredible, so you may find some helpful info. Depending on budget, a lot of people recommend the Skywatcher 200P dobsonian as a great introduction (in your case reintroduction) to astronomy. It has a nice 8" aperture so is great for DSO's, planets and the moon, is reasonably easy to transport and carry and is on a dobsonian mount. It's a really great scope. I was recommended one and was so glad of the purchase. A great scope. Welcome to the SGL anyway.
  21. Hi there Tehsin. The last couple of months has been incredibly awful weather-wise. I'm hoping for a better summer this year, but am not too optimistic. Enjoy the SGL anyway.

    Just saying hello

Hi there Stuart. Welcome to the SGL.
  23. Hi Luke. Welcome to the SGL. When considering your next scope many around here will recommend the 200P dobsonian as an ideal candidate. Definitely worth having a read about it to bear in mind for the future. It's what i and many others were recommended and I've never looked back. Enjoy the site.
  24. hey there Simon. Welcome to the SGL mate.
