Hi ..I recently got my self the Nexstar SE6 with mount .. no problem i HAVE A lcm 80 ALSO i NEVER HAD A PROBLEM ALIGING IT .. BUT WITH MY NEXSTAR EVERYTIME i WANT TO ALIGN IT .. EX:SKY ALIGN i DO ALL THE RIGHT THINS BUT WHEN IT IS ALL CONFIRMED AND ALL iT WONT GO TO WHERE IT IS SUPPOSE TO GO i LIVE IN oTTAWA . i AM IN ZONE 6 i INPUT THE RIGHT DAY...DATE ..TIME AND IT ENDS UP GOING THE TOTALLY OPPISITE WAY ..aM i DOING SOMETHING WRONG HERE i DONT GET IT CAN ANYONE HELP...LOL CONFUSED

When the hit is confirmed press UNDO and check that the stars you have found are actually the ones that you looked at. Once last year I had Betelgeuse confirmed as Mars - ok both red but I have always checked since then. The other things to check are obviously the lat and long - worth being as precise as possible - and obviously the time and date. Currently you should be -5 hrs from GMT with no daylight saving.
