Thank-you for all your emails
My posting about this new service only days before we close for Christmas probably wasn't the smartest thing to do
I will relay all the enquiries to John but please forgive us both if you don't receive a response til after we reopen 2nd Jan.
Making a busy Christmas even busier .
Will orders be dispatched over Christmas, or will they wait for the 2nd?

Here is the problem, i dont use the BST`s a huge amount, and i cant fit all six of them in the case, so moving them on and getting three better ep`s in the most suitable focal length makes sense, but im not into televue`s so i cant think of a brand of ep that i would prefer. A while back i got a celestron x-cel lx 7mm, and it looked like i might have gone with them, but my 7mm had issue`s and put me of the brand
How about ES 68 or 82? Or some TMB's (either the clones or the ones from the states which appear to be the real thing: http://www.astronomics.com/tmb_m93.aspx)

I have made some changes, the 25mm kellner has been changed for a 25mm KK circle T and the 20mm GSO plossl is looking for a new owner as a 9mm KK circleT has pushed it out, i feel this box is a little crowded, and i think in time i might move the BST`s on and replace with some thing different, but dont know what, the most used ep`s are the KK circle t`s
What will you be replacing the BSTs with? Something Black and Green?

RIP Patrick, such a sad day. I only just heard about it. The contributions he has made to the world of amateur astronomy can not be under estimated, and I agree with others' here in saying that without Sky at Night, this forum probably wouldn't exist.

Yes
How much does the whole thing weigh?
EDIT: Sorry, you've already answered that on the website...

Is the 90mm MAK the same OTA as the Skymax 90 (with a focal ratio of around 14)?
-
Will the Virtuoso Mount be available seperately, or does it fit the 130P?
Looks quite cute too, very festive colours too .

I'd like to once again thank FLO for a first class service, ordered some flocking material at around midday, got an email saying it had been dispatched at around 3pm and it was delivered by the post man this morning.
Excellent service, and they are great at answering any questions you have, can't thank them enough!

Had to buy a bigger EP case.....do you think she will notice??
Just one more space to fill in it though.
Probably, but you could just stick "By Lidl" or something on the eyepieces themselves... don't want google being helpful with prices of things .

See this thread to see how lazy I got , but I've got a case now. Awful quality pictures, and you can't really see the colour, but my webcam is literally in bits right now.

Shame you couldn't stay for awhile on the 11th.
We have a selection of open events during August which i will put up soon, but we are open on wednesday 1st and 8th from 2:30.
Kate
I'll be arriving at 5:00 ish on the Wednesday, but I'll be setting up a tent and everything. Will the observatory only be open on the 1st and the 8th? Will it be for the whole day and night?
-
I'm heading down to Sidmouth for the Folk Week, so may be able to swing by the Observatory sometime between the 1st and the 11th (although can't be at the Astro Fair )

So, at F/5, should I use long tube or short tube?
-
Long tube or short tube, which is better?

Not much and definitely not good looking foam (I suck when it comes to DIY projects), but it's a work in progress.
In the case so far: Celestron X-Cel LX, 25, 12, 7 and 5mm, a cheshire and a cheap moon filter
Easy to see the Heritage in the background .

I'd like to thank FLO for providing a first class service as always (for my Baader Optical Cleaning Fluid / Cloth), quick dispatch and absolutely no problems. Top class retailer, so much so it's my first port of call for everything.
Thanks FLO!

I'm honestly surprised that there isn't a Black Hole ranking. Just out of curiosity, if we surpass Dark Energy (50,000 posts), will there be a point when we can choose our own custom title (obviously not profane).
Eyepieces - the very least you need.

A set of the BST Starguider ED's would be good (http://www.skysthelimit.org.uk/telescope%20eyepieces.html), if you want other opinions then I suggest you create a topic about it in this section .
