Hi Kent, what did you connect to the ball head mount in order to connect it to the finder shoe? It appears to be a short dovetail mounting plate or an adapter?

First, thank you for all the useful discussion throughout this forum! I posted a question over in Cloudy Nights and received some helpful feedback, but no responses from first-hand experience with a StarSense Dobsonian thus far. https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/908297-plastic-parts-on-dobsonians/ Given the option exists to purchase any other Dobsonian to retrofit the Starsense dock/technology with, I'm interested in the quality of the Celestron OTA in comparison to other mass-produced Dobsonians within the same general price range. I'm not concerned with accessory packages or focuser comparisons but instead the topic of build quality. Mirror quality is also of interest. Thanks in advance for any opinions and experiences anyone would like to share.
