  1. thank you, will look into that. On other forums people were saying that it may cause interference or something so turn it off to see if that's the problem or go somewhere remote. Will have a look into a power pack - thanks
  2. The mount arrived a few days ago, excited i set it up, screwed everything in and put in the 8 AA batteries. I turn the mount on and went to settings to see that it is there, i go to the synscan pro app and connect. Everything is working fine. All of a sudden the wifi stops working, synscan stops connecting to the mount. Now the light is a static red colour, i try to connect again, no wifi showing up. I leave it for 4 hours and try again. Nothing. I turned my router off, tried connecting to the synscan wifi with my phone, friend’s phone and my laptop… the wifi just isn't showing up. Currently leaving it on for another 4hrs. If anyone can point to a forum that i missed or knows the answer, would be appreciated.
  3. I have a budget of around £300 (push to 350 with any addons I would need), I live in London, but the light pollution isn't bad in the late night when the neighbors go to sleep. I want to buy my first telescope for deep space viewing and was wondering if the Celestron AstroMaster 130EQ Newtonian Telescope would be any good for this. I was wondering if anyone has bought one and knows what to look out for and its better uses. I do occasionally go traveling to the countryside to meet family and it is very dark skies there so I would like a telescope that isn't too heavy or big that I can't fit in my car or carry it out. Any suggestions on any other telescopes, maybe a dobsonian? Thanks.
  4. Thank you for the fast response, i live in London, so lots of light pollution... I would probably use it mainly for back garden use and camping. Ive always been fascinated with deep space and planets. I live in a house, so i could store it next to the garden: in my shed or house. I will have a look at the link now thanks. -Also i wouldnt mind getting into astrophotography aswell but that would be at a later date when i know what im doing.
  5. I have a budget of around 300 and would like to a beginner friendly deep space telescope. The minimal research i have done has led me to want to get a reflector telescope as it seems less maintenance. I would preferably like to view star clusters and nebulas so i dont know what focal length i would need. Any suggestions are welcomed. I have been looking at a Celestron PS1000 Newtonian Reflector Telescope.
