  1. I have a ASI224, it's used as a guide camera for my Poseidon C Pro.... don't use it for anything else.
  2. Now I'm using an 80mm, but still like the 50mm for convenience. I purchased a ASI224 for guiding and it's working perfectly on both guide scopes. I'll be selling my QHY5 soon....?;^)
  3. Thanks Olly... I believe my Sky 90ll NSV is the latest model. The original one I received was the older version and I sent it back because of pinched optics. The new one they sent me, was a shorter version hence the NSV(new short version). I'd rather not have to send it in for collimation if I don't have to, so I'll check it next time out. However, I did contact Takahashi in Texas and they said when using the Tak focal reducer/flattener you need 56.2mm back focus... 55mm is the norm on my camera. So, I guess I'll have to get some very thin spacers..? Thanks again for your input Olly. Les
  4. I purchased the new Poseidon-C IMX571 camera. I just received it about a week ago. The camera is wonderful, I've only had it out once though. Reaching back focus is tough on my set up. It usually requires 55mm of back focus. Well, because I'm using a Takahashi Sky 90ll NSV with a focal reducer/flattener, 56.2mm is needed. My first and only try using it produced bad focus in the corners. So far I'm liking the Poseidon-C... if you can save a few more dollars, pounds or euros, I definitely look into this camera. I was going to purchase the same camera as you until I read up on the Poseidon-C. Good luck either way you go.
  5. I believe I downloaded those driver already.
  6. Hi yAll, I'm having a little problem trying to get the proper back focus on this set up. I think I have it at 56mm, when it is supposed to be 55mm. Also, I don't believe the way I've achieved that is even a good idea. It's a t 2.7 focuser with a camera angle adjuster, then the focal reducer/flattener. After that is an adapter and an 2" eye piece holder. I then slip the camera nose piece into that. It is snug, but I'm worried about flex. Here's a photo of my image train.... any help is appreciated.
  7. I've had my QHY5 for at least that long. However, I purchased a new computer and a new OSC camera. I tried running it through my new Player One Poseidon C camera... it won't even recognize it. Maybe I don't have the proper drivers. Where would you even find them? Mine was sold under the name Kwik Guider. Anybody here of it...? I remember it giving me trouble installing it years ago..... driver issues. But I can't get N.I.N.A. to recognize it right. Any ideas, or better yet, anyone ever buy this particular brand name? Quick Guider or Kwik Guider ...? Thanks for any answers in advance... By the way, I love the QHY5 Guider camera.
