Nacho3G, I'm also stuck at your step but then I looked at the below picture and figured out we'd need to remove the flat ring from the side hand grip ring (see the one ring detached, appearing above the nosepiece, whereas the hand grip ring slided down to the zoom mm mark). There're no screws and I think we'll need to remove it with the spanner wrench opening tool. I have a hard time unscrewing the ring, I'm still working on it because it's very tight.
