    Thanks Steve. I haven't purchased at all yet, but going on what you've said I think I'll probably go for the head only and the extension tube, and then use the Manfrotto I've already got. Also, thanks for the welcome!

    Are the Sky-watcher tripod and extension tube available separately, rather than in the bundle? If not, would a Manfrotto 055 tripod be suitable?
